Equipment and positioning review
Assessment of current support surfaces e.g. mattresses, cushions, is conducted with subsequent recommendations for pressure-relieving equipment and optimal positioning strategies to assist with pressure injury healing or reducing the risk of pressure injuries.

A customised care plan with specific recommendations is then compiled to prevent and manage pressure injuries as well as education on best practices and positioning for affected individuals and those supporting them.
